Introducing our photographers
Making sure that the properties we look after stand out in the market is very important to us. First impressions count, and we know that our photos could make the difference between someone coming to view a property or not. This is why we work with two exceptional photographers – Jack Beard and Mitchell Stather – who both bring fresh creativity to estate agent photography. Continue reading to find out a bit more about Jack and Mitch, their photography styles, and a preview of their work.
Meet Jack Beard
Jack is a professional photographer who has ten years of experience photographing properties across Surrey and Sussex. Georgia and Dan both worked with Jack in their previous roles and we knew that we had to get him on board with Number Twenty Four when he set up his own business.
Jack admits that he was ‘never academically gifted’ but instead always did well in creative subjects like music and art. His love for photography began in school when it was first offered as a subject. When we asked Jack what he loves most about being a photographer he said:
The ability to be creative on a daily basis and tell a story through my images.
By capturing the details of a home Jack tells a story that attracts the attention, and the imagination, of potential buyers. He loves modern, minimalist architecture and interiors, particularly Scandinavian and Japanese-inspired design, and is inspired himself by ‘people’s passion and their love for what they do’. He says that this is what generally attracts him to work with the right people and motivates him to be the best he can at what he does.
We asked Jack what his favourite piece of kit is and he said:
“My Pentax K1000 film camera. It’s a beautiful camera to shoot with! It originally belonged to my Grandad and was given to me by my Dad. I shot my first university project on that camera and developed the film myself. It was broken for a few years but I’ve finally had it repaired and can’t wait to shoot some more film through it!”
(Considering the almost identical headshots we received from Mitch and Jack, it’s not a surprise that when we asked Mitch the same question he said that his old film camera, a Leica M6, is his favourite piece of kit.)

Meet Mitchell Stather
Mitch is a Brighton-based creative with a passion and talent for photography shot both digitally and on film. Having bought his first camera at age seventeen after receiving his first pay check, he has made photography a more serious part of his life for the past four years.
Mitch has always had a keen interest in art and photography and describes himself as a ‘creative and visual person’. His inspiration tends to come either at 1 am when he is supposed to be asleep or when he visits somewhere new – which is evidenced when you look through his Instagram account. When we asked Mitch what he loves most about being a photographer he said:
Seeing things that not everyone can see comes with practice, but being able to imagine potential shots before you take them is what I love most about being a photographer. Although this can be annoying when you don’t have a camera on you!
When it comes to photographing properties, Mitch’s style results in stunning images that welcome you into the home. He loves shooting properties that have been well-designed with lots of natural light. The end result – immaculate photos that look like they’ve come straight from a high-end interior magazine.
We’ve known Mitch for a long time and he and his partner Mel are great friends of ours. When we launched Number Twenty Four, we knew that we wanted to work with a team of reliable photographers who understood what we wanted to achieve visually – and Mitch just got it. We’re very happy to have him on board.

With Mitch and Jack on this journey with us, we have the ability to make properties stand out online. They offer flexibility, creativity, and, not least of all – a sense of humour and fun. We hope you get to meet them very soon.
